The center was originally founded by H. Milton Van Dyke, M.D., F.A.A.P. in 1933. Subsequently it was directed by Richard D. DeGolla, M.D., F.A.A.P. and Alexander Van Dyke, M.D., F.A.A.P.
The current office location was opened in 1963 and originally designed by renowned architect Edward Killingsworth. He was essential to the Southern California Mid-Century architectural movement.
Pediatric Medical Center provides comprehensive medical care for patients from birth through college with special expertise in:

Pediatric Medical Center offers greater than one hundred twenty years of cumulative clinical pediatric experience and expertise. The purpose of the Center is to provide complete pediatric medical care. Each of our physicians are active in the education and training of pediatric residents and medical students. This allows them to offer a unique combination of skills for the care of your child based on both academic and community pediatric medical experience. Well child care, allergy program and comprehensive diagnostic and management services for complex and difficult cases are still the mainstay of the Center.
Participation in training pediatricians of the future includes Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, Miller Children’s Hosptial of Long Beach and LAC-USC Medical Center. The physician staff of the Center hold faculty appointments at USC and UCI Schools of Medicine.
